Stepping away from screens and devices

It is so easy to use my phone as a fallback, a device to keep me entertained as soon as I start to feel bored or curious. I’m trying to develop better habits and more intentionality around my devices — reducing my screen time so I can better interact with my surroundings and myself. It feels a little counterintuitive to be thinking and writing about this on my phone, but I’ll admit I’m far from where I’d like to be in this area and so I’ll take all the reminders I can get.
