I discovered a new podcast recently that cuts through some of the stress and negativity of modern times. The episodes are fairly short (all under 10 minutes) and each tells a story about compassion. I highly recommend giving it a listen:
Lately I’ve been enjoying Reply All, a podcast about the internet. Since I just discovered it, I’m downloading and catching up on old episodes while I do chores around the house and run errands.
Two episodes I listened to in the past couple days are Jennicam and Hack the Police, and both feature people who (for different reasons) aren’t present online these days. It’s weird to think about not using the internet or having a web presence. I don’t think I’d ever want to completely disconnect, but it’s interesting to imagine what would take its place.
